The vernissage of the photo exhibition “special moments” opened the doors to many interested guests on a sunny April 11 to view the moving photographs of young refugees from Afghanistan and Somalia.

Young artists from the photo project illustrate how different the personal significance of the special moment can be and thus the diversity of photographic production.

Impressive encounters and places mingle with painful memories, just as carefree moods and colorful spring moments. As different as may be the choice of subject, the visual language of all the works is universal: it touches without words!

The young people have consciously decided not to title their works. Each observer should so decide which meaningful moment is seen and felt in the image.

The photo exhibition can be visited until 09 July 2014 at Flüchtlingsambulanz, Martinistraße 52,
Gebäude Children for Tomorrow O44 in Hamburg.
