Kosovo

children in kosovo are happy about being visited by Stefanie Graf

Project Start:
2000

Target Group:
Children and families in Gjykova and the Peja region.

Programs:
Psychotherapeutic and child and adolescent psychiatric treatment, training and professional development for local practitioners and psychosocial programs.

Aims:
While most NGOs left the country years ago, Children for Tomorrow remains present in Kosovo with numerous projects and programs. The foundation is an established part of the cultural and psychosocial life in the region. The project’s aim is to support children, adolescents, and their families in integrating their experiences on an individual and ‘community’ level with various psychosocial and psychotherapeutic programs. We further create spaces for multiethnic exchange and constructive conflict resolution in a post war society, both in individual therapy and group work.
