Target Group:
War-traumatized children and adolescents and their families in Northern Uganda

Programs:
Outpatient clinic for war-traumatized children in GuluTown, individual and group psychotherapy. Outreach programs in the refugee camps with psychosocial group programs, as well as psychiatric and psychotherapeutic services. Psychoeducative and psychosocial programs in schools.

Aims:
Around 25.000 former child soldiers have been massively affected by more than 20 years of warfare. Many children are orphans; Many of them show serious physical symptoms and suffer from emotional problems. The project’s aim is to provide child and adolescent psychiatric and psychotherapeutic programs for war-traumatized children.
