Child psychotherapist sought for practice at a school in Wandsbek
Our HoneyHeroes! project enables refugee children to receive psychotherapy at the place where they attend school across several locations in Hamburg. A further location is planned at the Regional Education and Advice Centre Wandsbek North, Wildschwanbrook 9, in Wandsbek. We are looking for a child and adolescent psychotherapist who would like to open a special needs practice or a branch practice there. The foundation would support the practice by covering certain practice costs, arranging interpreters and taking care of non-therapeutic affairs such as housing matters and communication with authorities.
The HoneyHeroes! project is a cooperation between the CHILDREN FOR TOMORROW foundation and the Hamburg State Ministry of Schools and Vocational Training. In order to talk about creating further contracted psychotherapeutic locations, Stefanie Graf visited the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians in Hamburg in June together with representatives from the foundation and the project as well as State Ministry of Schools.
