Photo Exhibition CHILDREN FOR TOMORROW x SILVANO BALLONE
Last week we celebrated the opening of our photo exhibition CHILDREN FOR TOMORROW x SILVANO BALLONE with many friends of Children for Tomorrow! Many thanks to WHITE WALL for their great support. We are happy to be able to bring all our guests a little closer to our children, whose happiness and strength never cease to impress us.
Stefanie Graf’s CHILDREN FOR TOMORROW Foundation in Hamburg has been an institution for refugee children and their families for more than 25 years.
Photographer Silvano Ballone accompanies the projects with his camera, takes part in individual therapies, empathizes with the children’s needs and stories, and reports on the foundation’s projects with his pictures.
The photo exhibition aims to provide a vivid insight into the psychotherapeutic work of CHILDREN FOR TOMORROW. The aim is to give a face to the children whose suffering is often overlooked and whose joy, strength and self-confidence continue to impress despite their terrible experiences.
“Working with CHILDREN FOR TOMORROW touches me deeply. It gives me an insight into the different shades of the children I am allowed to observe and portray. I learn a lot with each new encounter. My goal as a photographer in therapy is to be there and at the same time capture what is “invisible”. I want to give an insight into their feelings that are close to me.“
